Elmdale – Ray C. Dazey, 95, a former local resident died at 2:04 a.m. Monday in St. Cloid, Fla apparently of a heart attack. A 1908 grad of Wingate HS he lived in Montgomery County until moving to St. Cloud several years ago. In 1914 he married in Lebanon to Edith May Swank. She died in 1968. His second marriage was in 1973 to Berneice Dunton. Mr. Dazey farmed in this community until retiring in 1973. He was a member of Center Christian Church and Montgomery County Farm Bureau. Surviving with the widow are a son, Russell Dazey of St Cloud; one daughter, Mrs. Hal (Roselyn) Hopper of Big Rapids, Mich; two stepsons and a stepdau. – kbz
